Rihanna decided on the tube as her transportation of choice when she made a trip to London’s 02 Arena for Drake’s sold out concert on Tuesday night (March 27). RiRi, of course, gained plenty of attention while traveling with a group of friends in her black leather thigh-high boots and a black shirt with flames on it through the city's Waterloo Station.
Seems like Rihanna prefers riding the tube to save time claiming that traffic is always a factor, “There’s so much traffic. It’s approximately an hour-and-a-half to the O2 every time…I hate waking up early and I’m always late, so the tube is like 10 minutes," she told interviewer Jonathan Ross recently.
With such a busy schedule, who could blame her for trying to save some time? The 24-year-old star recently landed in London to shoot promotion for her upcoming film "Battleship," after visiting New York City where she visited Beyonce and Blue Ivy.
Earlier this week, she revealed photos from the video set of Coldplay's “Princess of China” and the video for her "Take Care" collaboration with Drake is expected to drop any day now. According to the video's director Yoann Lemoine, the clip is one of the most indie pieces he's ever shot. Lemoine has high expectations for the video as does Drake who told MTV News back in December , "I want to make it perfect — the best video I've done to date — so I'm just taking my time.”
After the concert, Rihanna hung with Drake and crew at Low nightclub in London. The pair were spotted leaving together in the early morning hours.
