Chris Brown Unveils ‘Fortune’ Album Art

Chris Brown is stepping out in a retro-inspired look on his new album cover. For his fifth studio LP titled, Fortune, Breezy dons a sleek, slim-fitting suit paired with a skinny tie and thick black framed glasses for the cover art. He stands underneath a bright light shining down on him with the word “Fortune” collaged behind him in different languages. The image is courtesy of photographers Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold, who have also worked with artists such as Ciara, Keri Hilson, and Cassie.

Brown has remained squarely in the spotlight in the months leading up to the album’s May 8 release date. He performed twice at the 2012 Grammy Awards—once solo, performing his new single “Turn Up The Music,” and again alongside David Guetta and Lil Wayne—in addition to performing at NBA All-Star Weekend with Pitbull. Add that to his feature on ex-girlfriend Rihanna’s single, “Birthday Cake (remix)” and Brown has remained a fixture.

Breezy took to Twitter to express his excitement for the album and to thank fans for all of their support. On Wednesday night (February 29) he tweeted, “The reason for May 8th is so you (the fans) can have more music to make ur decision on if u want #FORTUNE.” He then added, “Love you guys, thx for all the support!” Come May 8th, the decision will be made.
