This week it was announced that MTV’s 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MC, MGK, will have his single “Invincible” played at WWE’s biggest spectacle, Wrestlemania. The song will be used as John Cena’s official entrance theme in the main event as he battles The Rock. The event will take place on April 1, 2012 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Fl. So far, the song has been running in Wrestlemania advertisements leading up to the event.

The advertisements harp on the struggle to make it big, which MGK says he can relate to. “John Cena and myself are both underdogs and the song is about struggle, I think it’s so cool they chose it.”

The song itself also features R&B singer/songwriter Ester Dean, who brings a bright and inspirational feeling to the song and Kelly has been able to garner some major deals from the release of “’Invincible.” “The reaction to “Invincible” has been amazing,” MGK says. “First, Verizon picked it to run in their campaign and now it’s an official Wrestlemania song. It’s crazy,”

Prior to Wrestlemania, MGK will join Tech N9ne on his 99-day Hostile Takeover tour, which will kick off on March 22 and run through 90 cities, preparing himself for the release of his debut album this summer.
