Look at him now. Well, maybe not. That is if you ask British GQ, who just named singer Chris Brown as the “Worst-Dressed Man” in the world. Yes, the whole entire world. The pub writes, “For someone who seems to have so much disposable income—he boasts on one track about spending “15 grand on a phone” and charged over $500 for meet-and-greets on his last tour—Brown seems utterly adverse to investing in tailoring, combining the worst excesses of XXL sizing with a penchant for deeply unflattering costumes.”
XXL? Costumes? Ouch! Maybe something about Chris’ Tappahannock, Virginia sartorial swag just doesn’t translate across the pond?
The same list dubbed hometown superstar Tinie Tempah as Best-Dressed. GQ writes, “Finally, while we don’t like to blow our own trumpet too much, we should point out that, for the moment, the man who heads our list of the ten best-dressed international men calls this country home. Can it be a coincidence?”
Chris will have a chance to prove GQ wrong (or maybe right) on the red carpet at the upcoming NAACP Image Awards. The singer nabbed a nomination for Outstanding Male Artist and Outstanding Album for FAME. The winners will be announced live February 17 on NBC.
