Ever since Beyonce revealed her baby bump at the 2011 MTV VMAs, fans have waiting been patiently for updates on little Jayonce, and if the rumors are true, Jay-Z could be a father today. According to Media Takeout, two nurses at New York's Saint Luke's Roosevelt Hospital claim that a “celebrity VIP” has reserved half of the hospital’s luxury labor and delivery floor in order to give birth on Wednesday (December 28). So far, there has been no confirmation from Beyonce's camp that this rumor is true.
Early in December Beyonce joined Katie Couric for an interview on 20/20 where she opened up about all the baby rumors thus far.
On those fake pregnancy rumors: "You know, there are certain things that are so far, it doesn't even effect me," she told Couric. "I'm cool. It doesn't bother me."
On her overprotective family: "My mom is like, 'Nobody's talking about my grandbaby! My grandbaby's not ever here yet!" I was like, 'Calm down, mom! It's okay!' My mom and sister are so protective."
On her pregnancy cravings: "I read that I like ketchup on everything...not true," she said. "I was on a plane and the flight attendant came and was like, 'I have your hot sauce and pickles and bananas.' I'm like, 'That is disgusting! What are you doing?' And he's like, 'I read it on the Internet.'"
On the baby’s sex: "I don't care. I just want--I'm just like everyone else. And now I know why people say that, it's true. I just want [a healthy baby]," she said. "I know it's going to be difficult at times and I know that, like my mother, I'm going to get on my child's nerves, but it's all out of love and I'm just ready. I'm ready for the next chapter," she said.
