Fat Joe has always been a ladies man, but his recent weight loss and new sultry collaboration with Chris Brown may take things up a level. The Colin Tilley-directed video for “Another Round” begins with a rest in peace dedication to the original Overweight Lover, Heavy D. The single which features Brown singing on the hook is a slow plea. “Don’t you be holding back your love,” Breezysings before assuring his love that after making love she will indeed want “another round.”

In the clip the Terror Squad rapper and CB serenade a number of bikini-clad beauties on a golden beach. It is an evolved look for the Don Cartegena who started off his career in 1993 with the moniker Fat Joe da Gangsta. The Bronx rapper gives us a number of different looks, all in slim clothing, showing off his new physique. First we see Joey Crack dressed in a Aztec-type sweater with slacks and a scarf tied around his next; next we see him in a nicely-tailored black suit.

The wardrobe choices match perfectly with Joe’s sweet nothings. “Quit playin’ girl you know that you want it/ I can tell just by the way you push it out and flaunt it,” he raps at a slowed-down pace.

It’s Brown who steals the show though. Singing in the middle of the ocean the blonde-haired pop star begins to break down, ripping off his shirt, splashing around in the waves, full of emotion. It’s the type of visual performance associated with ‘90s R&B acts like Jodeci.

With so many Chris Brown collaboration popping up lately, it could get hard to differentiate one from another, but not Fat Joe’s “Another Round.” The Cool & Dre-produced single is both sonically and visually unique to stand out.
