Today, in news that we didn’t really see coming, Ludacris has launched his a new children’s website KarmasWorld.com, which he dedicated to his 10-year-old daughter, Karma Bridges. The cutesy, interactive site features original songs with educational lyrics, along with games and stories for kids and it’s tailored for little learners in grades 1-6, teaching them not only math, science and geography—but also moral lessons as well.
“We wanted the site to be educational, fun and full of music that all kids will enjoy, but we also wanted it to teach kids more than just academics,” Ludacris told AllHipHop.
“The site touches on subjects, like the rewards of hard work and importance of learning manners as well as the idea that doing good deeds for others will bring good into your life – which is the meaning of the word Karma,” Luda explained. “The music and lyrics, games and stories on the site are all original and were created by me, my daughter and my creative team.”
Luda isn’t concerned about ruining his street cred with his new softy, daddy image. He’s been blowing up his Twitter account with promotions for the website. In fact in the last 15 hours or so, Luda posted 10+ tweets about the website. “As of today, my daughter has become an entrepreneur by the age of 10!” and, “Visit the soft launch of Karmasworld.com today! Educational website for kids w/ music by Karma!” were just a few that he tweeted.
And yes, you read that correctly—all music on the website is sung by Lil Luda herself. Karma’s musical debut is on the site and it’s one of the cutest things we’ve heard in awhile. Check out all the fun at KarmasWorld.com
