When Drake’s sophomore album Take Care leaked on Sunday night (November 6), it took fans no time to breeze through the record and pick out their favorite tracks. Among the top picks was the cut “Lords Knows,” which boasts a triumphant beat from producer Just Blaze and a feature from Rick Ross, that now serves as a preview for the collaborative mixtape Y.O.L.O. that Rozay and Drake have been busy recording.

After Drake delivers his scorching first verse, Rick Ross preempts his own bars by making a clear reference to the upcoming project, saying, “You know I love this/Y.O.L.O. You only live once/I’m going so hard my ni—a, I swear homie, everyday is another opportunity to reach that goal.”

Ross and Drake have been in cahoots for some time now, and during the release party for Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV album in Los Angeles a few weeks ago, Drizzy revealed to MTV News that he’d already heard The Bawse’s upcoming album. “This guy right here,” Drake said, as he motioned to Rick Ross. “That God Forgives, I Don’t; the only way I can describe it is like Doggystyle or Ready to Die or Clipse Lord Willin‘ or any of the albums that I collected and held on to as a kid — whether it was cassette or CD.”

No word yet on when Ross and Drake will roll out their Y.O.L.O. mixtape. In the mean time, just keep “Lord Knows” on replay. Watch Just Blaze recording the choir sounds for the track below.
