Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Diddy And Others Remember 9/11

A decade has passed since the attacks of September 11, 2001, but the memory of that day and those who were affected by it still lives on in America. Celebrities took to Twitter on Sunday morning to share thoughts on the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

“Sending my love to the victims of 9/11. Remembering the heroism. The brave men & women. The troops. We become alive in the time of fear,” Queens MC Nicki Minaj shared

Nicki’s mentor Lil Wayne tweeted, “Remembering those we lost on this unforgettable day. God bless their families and may their souls rest in peace.”

Rapper Fabolous who’s debut album dropped same day the towers fell shared his sentiments as well.

“Would like to take time to remember the lives lost 2day, 10 yrs ago … Gone but not forgotten .. #911 #godbless” tweeted Fab.

“God bless all who affected by 9-1-1″ mogul Diddy wrote in. “Sept 11″ Jay-Z simply added.

“My sister was one of the first responders on sept. 11″ A Tribe Called Quest frontman Q-Tip revealed on the social network.

“Be still, and know that I am God” Def Jam founder Russell Simmons tweeted.

“Today is the most important day for love! Thinking of you!” singer Alicia Keys wrote.

“God thanks for waking me up to see another day” rapper Soulja Boy tweeted. “Bless everybody especially those affected in the tragedy of 9/11. Gone but never forgotten.”

“Prayers and shout out to everyone who lost lives, family members and loved ones 10 years ago today” super producer Just Blaze said. “God bless.”
