This past weekend Queensbridge king Nas closed out the New York leg of annual summer concert "Rock The Bells" at the city's Governors Island. The star-studded lineup included powerhouse acts including Raekwon and Ghostface, Laruryn Hill, Mobb Deep, Slaughterhouse, Cypress Hill, Blackstar, Erykah Badu, Murs, Black Moon, Big K.R.I.T., the Immortal Technique, GZA and much more. The 2011 version of "Rock The Bells" was a salute to some of hip-hop's most celebrated MCs and their prized albums. Classic records Illmatic, Infamous, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx and The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill were just a few albums spotlighted throughout the day with performances on a number of stages.
