Lil Wayne, Chris Brown Feature On New Bow Wow Mixtape Greenlight 4

Ohio native and current Atlanta resident Shad “Bow Wow” Moss has grown up under the hot lights of Hip Hop scrutiny ever since making a splash as a kid rapper with former mentor Jermaine Dupri and appearing on Snoop Dogg’s classic Doggystyle album when he was much younger.

Now at 24 and currently a part of the Young Money conglomerate, the rapper and actor has released the fourth in his Greenlight mixtape series hosted by DJ Ill and DJ Rockstar earlier today in an effort to reestablish his rap roots and to also prep fans for his upcoming YMCMB full-length Underrated in November. On Greenlight 4, Bow Wow also taps his network of friends in the industry to help bolster his product.

The 17-track mixtape is packed with features such as May Bach Music Group and Triple C’s member Gunplay on the track “Why They Hate.” Tity Boi (2 Chainz) and YM boss Lil Wayne rock alongside Bow Wow on “Ima Stunt” and R&B crooner Chris Brown gives an assist on the track “I Isn’t Thinkin ‘Bout You.” Bow Wow also reconnects with Snoop Dog for the track “Come Smoke With Me Pt. 4” and also snagged a Queen Latifah feature for the track “Set It Off.”

Greenlight 4 is Bow Wow’s sixth official mixtape and fourth as part of the vast Cash Money machine. Underrated, slated for a November 1 release, will be his seventh full-length album not including his collaborative work with R&B singer Omarion in 2007 titled Face Off.
