The Game Says ‘No Beef’ With Big Sean But Prepared To Battle

West Coast veteran The Game has a knack for ruffling feathers and his recent song “Uncle Otis” – inspired in part by 50 Cent’s “How To Rob” namedropping track – had many speculating that he aimed the freestyle towards Kanye West and Jay-Z’s leak “Otis” from their upcoming joint album Watch The Throne. On the song, Game shot tough bars towards Jay-Z, Kreayshawn and even Marc Anthony among others. Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music protégé Big Sean was also hit with a few darts from the Compton MC to which the coolheaded Motor City MC brushed off with ease.

The line from Game – “This n—a didn’t even want to put you on/He turned around, put on Sean/But forgot to tell him Beni Han Han/Don’t sell no f—in wontons” – barely registered a response on air from Big Sean as a guest on New York radio station Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club show. “I didn’t even take it as a dis. I took it as him doing what he do. Don’t he got an album that’s about to come out” said Big Sean of Game’s verse.

Host Charlamagne tried to get Sean to speak on the matter further, calling it a “desperate move” but Sean in his typical fashion didn’t linger on the potential for negativity. Big Sean opted to focus instead on his recent 2011 MTV Video Music Award nomination for Best New Artist and his newfound success.

Over the weekend, Game took to his Twitter account to address “Uncle Otis” and the insults with tough talk that belied his words to XXL last week that the track was not intended to be taken as a dis record. Reposting tweets from his fans, The Game seemingly egged on a potential beef between him and Big Sean. “@the game Big Sean coming for yo head next BOI! LHH,” said fan @LiquidGotti that Game reposted in mocking fashion. Game responded with, “@LiquidGotti It’ll be the END of em if he do. RETWEET THAT !!!”

Game upped the ante further by tweeting, “Aint NEVER LOST a rap beef & I NEVER WILL !!! #iWroteThreeHundredBars little do you n—-s forget !!!” He continued to rage on with, “#UncleOtis wasn’t a diss record. That was me & the homies in the studio wasted LAUGHING & JOKIN. If I get serious…. #HeadsGoneRoll”

The Game ended with a salvo towards Big Sean’s fans that read, “AINT NO BEEF wit dat boi. But if y’all are able to GET the lil n—a to bust a shot this way I WILL BE MORE THAN PREPARED !!!”

Big Sean has yet to address Game’s tweets after a look at the rapper’s Twitter account show no response to Game’s Twitter rant.
