Wednesday Rick Ross brought his Maybach Music Group to the “RapFix Live” couch for a sit down with Sway. Together the crew which consists of Wale, Meek Mill, Pill and Ross himself answered questions about their come up and their new compilation Self Made.

As is customary with all guest who visit “RapFix Live” Ross’ crew of young guns had to deliver their hardest bars. Ross introduced each member of his squad before they dropped their individual verses. Meek Mill set things off, spitting for over two minutes. Wale was next. The D.C. rapper’s punch-line laced verse was filled with a number of quotables while Pill ended the cipher with an impromptu, off-the-head freestyle.

Other highlights on the show included Ross admitting that last year, despite his attempts, he was unable to sign 2010 Breakout MC Wiz Khalifa. Ross told Sway that his MMG label “wasn’t really where we were supposed to be” and that ultimately the failure to sign Khalifa only fueled Ross’ drive to build his roster to attract young, capable spitters.

The Boss also commented on his and Drake’s admiration for Jay-Z and explained to Sway why he chose to take his label to Warner Music Group instead of Def Jam where he is currently signed as a solo artist. Wale spoke on his 2009 collaboration with Lady Gaga and the difference between working under Mark Ronson and Rick Ross. Pill spoke on his decision to sign with Rozay and Meek Mill opened up about his relationship with T.I. All in all it was a jam-packed broadcast.
