Lil Wayne missed a lot of things while being incarcerated, and "Jersey Shore" topped that missed list.
The rapper and Young Money godfather spoke with New York’s Hot 97 leading lady Angie Martinez and discussed his love of the show.
“On the real, I just started watching 'Jersey Shore,'” Wayne told Angie Mar. “You can ask them, I'm mad I missed out. And then the other day Vinny had on a 'Free Weezy' shirt, I rocks with 'Jersey Shore,' man.”
Fans of Lil Wayne who haven’t watched the show have a genuine interest in it now.
“I heard Lil Wayne’s favorite show was Jersey Shore,” tweets @krisheatunechi. “I might have to start watching it.” “Lil Wayne's favorite show is Jersey Shore..I've never seen it. Can it really be THAT good?” ponders @LoveTravone.
While Wayne has his own harem of ladies, he wouldn’t mind adding some of the Jersey Shore females to his flock. That is, except for Snooki. “I like Deena and I like Angelina and, um, Jenni,” Weezy said. “Now if I catch one of them, it's on.” He didn’t, however, mention Sammi, who in last night’s reunion episode admitted that she and Ronnie were still in love. However, the two are not together. The reunion also highlighted some of the funnier moments during Season 3, including Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino feeding the family pets anything and everything, much to Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s chagrin.
As Lil Wayne was just getting caught up with the episodes he missed while on Rikers Island, he may have to wait even longer for Season 4. The cast, slated to head overseas to Italy, are currently in contract negotiations to paid up front by MTV before hopping on a plane. The season is currently on hold, and rumors are already circulating that Season 3 might be the last for the sun-tanned cast.
“Am gone miss Jersey Shore!! ,” @CarleyVee tweets. “Me and my boyfriend Lil Wayne fav show.”
Despite the fact that Jersey Shore may not get another beach to takeover, Wayne can always hang out with the fellas from the cast. Well, some of them.
“I like they swag. I like Pauly D swag and Vinny's swag,” Wayne stated. “I ain't really on Ronnie and Mike like that. I like the fact that they set the trend you supposed to live by as a young male in this world. They go to the club, and they really come back with something like every time. Every time, fool. That's my favorite show right there.”
