Where Will Chris Brown And Rihanna Reunite?

By Erika Ramirez

Days before the 53rd annual Grammy Awards debut this Sunday, Rihanna has allowed for the restraining order against Chris Brown to be eased.

Almost two years after Chris Brown’s assault against the singer, Rihanna’s lawyer Donald Etra told E! News that Rihanna requested the order to be brought down to a level one, which would go from both of them keeping away from each other to Brown being able to keep in contact but not harassing or annoying her.

The initial restraining “stay away” order went into effect in August 2009 after Chris pleaded guilty to assault. About two weeks ago, Chris went to court to try to reduce the “stay away” order to “do not annoy.” During a recess granted by Judge Patricia Schnegg, who mandated the order back in August 2009, Brown’s attorney called Rihanna’s legal team to OK the request but her legal team was unavailable.

Both Rihanna and Chris Brown have a big night ahead of them as she’ll be performing with guest Drake, and Chris Brown is nominated for Best R&B Performance in a Duo (for “Take My Time” with Tank), Best Contemporary R&B Album (for Graffiti), and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (for “Deuces” featuring Tyga and Kevin McCall). But the couple may not reunite Sunday night since not only has the request to reduce the order not yet been confirmed but Chris is also not scheduled to attend, according to his reps.

The Grammys would have been a night the two exes might have reunited.
