Nicki Minaj Covers V Magazine In War Paint

It’s been a busy few days for Nicki Minaj.

On Wednesday (Jan.uary 12), V magazine debuted Nicki’s first cover for the publication, which is also their Spring Preview 2011 issue. Inside, Minaj is covered in streaks of colorful paint and ethnic fashion. Barbz and KenBarbz can catch two versions of cover on stands this week.

Keeping up her fashionable reputation, Minaj also visited Ellen De Generes’ talk show on Monday in a blond wig, little black dress and studded silver Christian Louboutin booties.

“Lil Wayne gave them to me,” Minaj said, when DeGeneres pointed at the shoes.

Minaj also talked about her alter egos, sharing that Roman’s mother Martha, who was introduced on “RapFix Live,” will make in appearance in an upcoming video.

“Actually she’s going to make her debut in the video that I just shot with Drake, it’s for a song called ‘Moment 4 Life,’ ” she said. “We just shot that video, you actually see Martha in the video.”

Minaj finished the show, performing “Moment 4 Life” backed by dancers, clad in fuchsia leotards. Unfortunately, Drake, who recently performed for the first time in the U.K., didn’t rock “Ellen” with his Young Money buddy.

The busy Barbie has also finished filming the third video from her debut album, Pink Friday. Last weekend, Minaj and partner-in-crime Rihanna were flirting over Twitter on the set of “Fly.”

With several magazine covers and music videos under her belt, there’s no doubt that Nicki Minaj holds 2011 in her hands.
