Attention Barbies!

Remember when RapFix debuted an exclusive image of Nicki Minaj in the studio with the hastag #112810?

Well, we can finally tell you the secret! A documentary, entitled “My Time Now,” following the Queens, NY MC will premiere on November 28, just a few days after her debut LP Pink Friday hits shelves.

On November 28 at 10PM ET/PT MTV will debut, on each of it’s platforms—including exclusive excerpts on MTVNews.com and right here on RapFix, sides of the Harajuku Barbie no one has seen. From backstage at her first VMA performance to food with family before her homecoming concert in Trinidad, we’ve got the inside scoop.

The documentary was produced by @radical.media, who also crafted Drake’s documentary “Better Than Good Enough,” and executive produced by MTV News’ Dave Sirulnick.

“Nicki Minaj has quickly emerged as one of the hottest artists in hip-hop and recently was recognized as the first female to ever make our annual Hottest MCs list,” Sirulnick explained in a statement, “While her fans have gotten to know her through her music and her various social media channels, this documentary offers the world the first real intimate look at this woman who is on the verge of achieving superstardom.”

Recently, Nicki spoke about her family’s personal ups and downs, specifically her father setting their house ablaze when she was a kid.

“She had to run out the last minute,” Nicki explained. “She had a dream the night before that the house was going to be burned down. Me and my brother weren’t in the house. She had us sleep at a friend’s house. So at like three o’clock that morning, they were like, ‘You gotta go down to your house … something’s happening.’ We were young so we ran four or five blocks and all we saw was smoke.”

In spite of that incident, Nicki’s parents are still together and a small reunion of the MC and her kin is captured in “My Time Now.” Stay tuned.
