Last night, during “RapFix Live” Sway asked Lloyd Banks whether he’d work with G-Unit’s former member, The Game … and then Game tweeted 50 Cent about collaborating. Coincidence?

“@50cent All it take is “ONE PHONE CALL” !,” Game tweeted. “U call me, I call BUCK, tell Banks holla at Yayo & dat puts HIP HOP @ OUR MERCY ! #UknowUcdisN—A.”

But Lloyd Banks called shenanigans on a G-Unit reunion.

“I can’t honestly take that situation seriously,” Banks said, and Fif agreed.

50 Cent tweeted back, “What are you guys talking about? I don’t talk to Game I have had no communication wit him in years.”

Banks further explained that it was each MC’s turn to increase their own cache—without 50.

“This time coming around, it was more about us as individual artists building up our brand to eventually come together to form the monster they know as G-Unit the crew,” Banks said. “Not to form the crew G-Unit to better our career as solo artists. We did that dance already. 50′s first album led into the G-Unit album, which led into my album. Now it’s time to pay 50 back. It’s time for me to make it easy on him. Not go to 50 to make it easy on us.”

So we at RapFix ask, what’s your favorite (current and former) G-Unit member? Are you a die-hard Banks fan? Love Yayo’s penchant for bucket hats? Thought Game’s ability to name-check rap’s legend was crafty? Or did you weep when Young Buck fell from grace in the eyes of the G-Unit general, 50 Cent?
