If bodying the sales of your favorite rapper isn't enough to prove that Sade is the GOAT, how about Drake's undying crush on the Brit for proof?
"I'd love to work with Andre 3000 and I would love to work with Sade," Drake told MTV during the debut episode of the new show "The Seven."
Before the release of Thank Me Later, rumors flew that Toronto's golden boy would be working with one of R&B's most iconic recluses. Fans said if Drizzy could pull off a collaboration with Sade herself, maybe this kid really was the savior of all things hip-hop. Unfortunately, the duet—yeah, we assume the two would be harmonizing together—didn't happen but that didn't stop the kid from holding a candle.
"40, who produces all my music actually got a chance to work with her recently, so we're on the right path," he added.
Fortunately for Drake, and everyone else, Sade recently announced her 2011 North American tour dates and locations in support of her first LP in ten years, Soldier of Love. We suggest stashing your duckets for this show immediately. Oddly, her run begins in Baltimore but hey, with "The Wire" over, B-more needs love too.
