Kanye West just shut down the 2010 Video Music Awards with an ethereal performance featuring some surprising guests. With an Akai MPC2000 drum machine on stage, auto-tuned microphone, ballet dancers and the latest addition to the G.O.O.D. Music family, Pusha T, Ye’ toasted “to the a--holes” (perhaps even himself) and stunned the crowd at L.A.’s Nokia Theater. Word is the chants of "Let’s have a toast for the a--holes, have a toast for the jerk-offs, let’s have a toast for the scumbags” continued well past Kanye exiting stage left for his dressing room.
