The Taylor Swift vs. Kanye West rivalry set the web ablaze with rumors that Taylor would premiere a new song from her upcoming album "Speak Now" dedicated to Mr. West himself. And sure enough, those rumors were true.
Taylor opened her act with a montage clip of last year’s most notorious VMA moment: Kanye West jumping on stage to interupt Taylor’s acceptance speech. Earlier this week, Kanye took to Twitter to apologize to Taylor for last year’s debacle.
"I'm sorry, Taylor," he wrote Saturday morning. "We're both artists and the media and managers are trying to get between us. She deserves the apology more than anyone.”
But it looks like Taylor still wanted to express her reaction on the 2010 VMA stage. So what did you think of her performance? Was it necessary for Taylor to sing about Kanye one year later? Was opening her performance with the clip of Kanye's shenanigans a bit much? Or was she completely in the right by expressing herself? Take our poll and let us know!
