Kanye West is hyped. With only a few moments before show time, the Louis Vuitton Don shared his excitement about hitting hit the Video Music Awards stage via Twitter. Rumors swirl that ‘Ye will apologize to Taylor Swift tonight (again) for interrupting the country singer’s award acceptance speech during 2009′s VMA’s.

“#VMAs tonight!” Kanye wrote in anticipation on Sunday morning. “I still feel the adrenaline… WWMJD!”

Kanye’s VMA presence last year will definitely go down in history as well as Twitter talk. Remember the #kanyeshrug?

“It’s funny. I can’t believe it’s been a whole year,” West wrote of his return. “But can’t believe all that’s happened within this year at the same time. Each piece of the performance tonight is slowing falling into place… I get so excited to do new things… new energy. I can feel the positive energy.”

A few fans shared Yeezy’s enthusiasm.

@LaAlchemista wrote: “Excited to see what @Kanyewest is gonna do at the VMAs tonight.”

@Skiinnyslim stated: “Patiently waiting until the VMAs got a feeling @Kanyewest performance WILL be #epic.”

In a heart-felt tweet, a somber ‘Ye rejoiced despite the fact that his number one fan wouldn’t be able to attend tonight.

“I wish my mom was here,” Kanye wrote. “But I know she’s looking down. I want to make her so happy today.”

“God bless you @@Kanyewest and your mom your a strong man for being able to continue with peace and positive. Respect,” tweeted one fan @LilBtheBaseGod.

Although, Kanye’s outburst from last year’s VMAs still haunts him, tonight Yeezy will be at peace walking back onto the stage for the world to see.

“GOD is working,” he tweeted. “I feel so blessed on this day.”
